In Konecranes IT, Corporate Functions Cluster, we are responsible for developing and delivering IT solutions to support Finance, People and Management processes. We are excited to welcome a new team member, a Concept Owner, SAP Finance and Controlling who is motivated to actively contribute to digital transformation of Finance processes by providing information regarding IT solution capabilities and restrictions.

In this role, you will work closely with a wide network of stakeholders in Finance and in IT, and you will be responsible for coordinating further development of the system design and ensuring that concept is implementable, maintainable and reusable.
 

Your key responsibilities:

• Translating business requirements into information system specification
• Owning and managing concept documentation
• Ensuring effective integration with related concepts and overall process model
• Stakeholder communication and training to support successful change management
• Solving production incidents in co-operation with application management support (AMS) teams
• Planning, designing and preparing testing activities, also participating in testing

 What should you bring?
For this role, we are looking for a motivated team player who has a strong understanding of Finance processes (accounting, financial reporting, preferably also treasury and invoicing). To succeed, you need to be a tech-savvy person and experienced with accounting software, ideally you have background from SAP FICO module. We also expect you to have a degree in Finance, Computer Science or equivalent and several years of applicable experience from Finance domain (processes/solutions). Knowledge about S4 HANA and agile methodologies is an advantage.

It’s also important that you have good negotiation and collaboration skills and you can facilitate discussions targeting at finding a common solution. The role requires fluency in English as well as an active and independent approach to work and ability to stay focused also under pressure. We also appreciate that you have experience in working with global projects in virtual, cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds.
