Konecranes has three main business areas - Port Solutions, Industrial Cranes and Service. Port Cranes is an important part of the Port Solutions with a long history. Port Solutions provide an excellent range of lifting equipment and maintenance service as well as automation and software solutions for container handling industry. Port Cranes’ Technology unit is responsible for designing and developing product management processes that support achievement of Port Cranes’ strategic target to manage 'projects through product'. We are now seeking to hire a dedicated Product Management Process Architect who will take responsibility for driving implementation of product management processes across our global organization and facilitating activities to ensure that processes become an integral part of our business operations.

As our Product Management Process Architect, you will play a key role in managing communication as well as in providing guidance to stakeholders regarding the process, related tools and ways of working. You will be also responsible for managing further development initiatives for all product management subprocesses that include product feature management, product structure management, product cost management and requirement – and task management. In this role you will work closely with internal product managers, support team managers, engineers and other internal stakeholders. You will report to Manager, Product Management & Compliance.

What should you bring?

 

For this role we are looking for a person who has strong collaboration skills and is willing to work as a team. You can be a young talent or an experienced professional, the most important is your passion for developing and promoting new ways of working and operating.

 

In addition, we expect you to have:

 

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in area that supports product management, however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree
  • Good understanding of product management for different kind of products
  • Project management skills and previous exposure to change management activities
  • Experience with ERP and PLM-tools
  • Data driven business thinking and ability to collect and visualize data (e.g. with Power BI)
  • Understanding of agile way of working
  • Fluency in English
