Digitalization plays a strategic role in our journey to advance customers’ material flows. As our products, services and operations are becoming more and more digitalized, and we are looking for an RPA Specialist who will have a key role in Konecranes Global Parts process development team. RPA is a technological platform with the capability to profoundly transform the way traditional office work is conducted. RPA offers a variety of new ways for companies to leverage their workforce and empower people to focus on high value activities by automating the repetitive routine tasks in the office.
In this role your main responsibility is to develop the automated workflows on our RPA platform in close cooperation with Konecranes core RPA team, Process Owner, Business Process Specialist and other stakeholders in the Konecranes spare part business. You will participate in several steps ranging from process analysis to the actual automation deployment.


Your key responsibilities:
• Provide insight on key technical requirements for the business process analysis to confirm that process complexity is accurately captured from RPA viewpoint
• Identify technical automation challenges and propose further process improvement opportunities to Business Process Specialist and Process Owner
• Define and document the technical requirements needed for implementing a process that is approved for automation as well as manage the use of RPA code library
• Develop and follow best practices and other technical guidelines for RPA configuration to build the automated workflow with our RPA platform
• Test and verify the automation results in cooperation with Business Process Analyst, Process Owner and process key users and once approved, deploy the automation to production in agreed schedule


Your experience & skills
We are looking for a candidate with a suitable background, but not necessarily a lot of work experience in the field of RPA. It’s crucial that you have a technical mindset coupled with excellent business systems and process understanding and a genuine interest towards Robotic Process Automation. Your ability to capitalize on these traits allows you to learn new technologies fast and supports your aspiration in becoming a professional in delivering RPA solutions. You have some experience with programming and developing solutions (e.g. with VBA, .NET, C#, Java, Python) and/or experience with Robotic Process Automation technologies (Uipath, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere etc.) and you possess a basic understanding of database technologies (e.g. MsSQL, Oracle) and different systems interfaces. You are target-oriented team player with good execution skills who likes to interact and communicate with different types of people across a large international organization. The role requires also fluency in English, Finnish is seen as an advantage – but not mandatory.
