We are currently recruiting a qualified Supervisor to join our team at Mogalakwena Mine, South Africa. This is a full time, indefinite position, offering a unqiue opporunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation. 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. 
  • Perform inspections in line with established service parameters and document findings, making corrective recommendations to customers. 
  • Consult with custoners on repair and saftey related issues and prepare necessary resources for repair tasks. 
  • Supervise and support site-based Inspectors/Technicians, conducting spot checks to ensure high quality workmanship. 
  • Provide Quick Quotes for immediate service or repair needs and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time. 
  • Maintain company issued equipment, vehicles, and assets, reporting any issues for resolution. 
  • Follow established safety procedures and provide technical support to ensure compliance with OHS regulations. 
  • Stage parts and components, improve asset data quality, and generate sales leads and improvement opportunities. 
  • Record faults and exceptions, participate in safety reviews, and support the implementation of the Service Model. 
  • Comply with all relevant OHS acts, regulations, and health and safety policies, and report any hazards or incidents as per company procedures. 
  • Pefrom other duties as assigned.

What should you bring?

 

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:

 

Qualification/Education: 

  • Electrical/Millwright trade
  • Accreditation as Lifting Machinery Inspector (LMI) would be an advantage

 

Skills & Knowledge: 

  • 5 years field service experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Working technicial knowledge of cranes
  • Fully equipped with SHEQ kmowledge and understand of its legislation
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces; elevated areas and at heights
  • Must be able to travel locally and outside SA for operational requirements
  • Excellent level of computer literacy on complete Microsoft Office
