Job Title: Warranty Project Manager

We are looking for a Warranty Project Manager to support our Global Project Management team in Business unit Port Cranes. As our Warranty Project Manager, you will participate in handling projects’ warranty globally including project management, reporting and other aspects. You will be part of our dynamic team of project management experts ready to take care of our projects and customers within our business. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and completion of warranty claims from customers. This role will require a high degree of collaboration and communication between internal teams, external vendors, and clients. You will be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
Job Duties
Manage all aspects of warranty claims from initiation to completion and be in charge of warranty management with respect to established budget, contractual scope, timeline, quality standards and customer satisfaction in line with KC Framework.
- Act as prime customer and stakeholder interface during project warranty period to resolve issues on multiple projects.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and other third parties.
- Process and register notifications for warranty claims in SAP
- Coordinate invoices related to warranty claims.
- Coordinate root cause analysis and implement related countermeasures, corrective and preventive actions for warranty claims.
- Monitor and report project progress on a regular basis.
- Resolve disagreements. Disputes, issues and challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze warranty trends and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all warranty repair and replacement activities are completed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of engineering.
- Have Project Management experience working on EPC projects.
- Knowledge of the port crane industry.
- Must have strong technical aptitude and a desire to fully understand our products and processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail is a must.
- Able to efficiently handle and administer multiple tasks on concurrently running projects.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Good computer skills and work with SAP, Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
