Job Title: E-Commerce Specialist

Position : E-commerce Support

Reports To: Manager, Sales Support – Supply Regions Americas

General Position Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for all essential e-commerce support for the region. The e-Commerce specialist activities include optimizing user interface, supporting product platforms, moderating overall store website traffic, and supporting end users.

Essential Functions:

* Support and test system upgrades.

* Optimizing user interface.

* Monitor site traffic.

* Supporting corporate campaigns through user interface.

* Working with cross functional teams to manage and facilitate store functionality.   


Must be self-motivated, display leadership abilities, and have knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning system. This position requires excellent understanding of web-based systems and digital market strategies. Experience designing and troubleshooting a web-based e-commerce platform. Knowledge of search engine structure and implementation of market strategies. A qualified candidate must be proficient in managing a digital product platform, research analytics, and implementing market strategy. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Word. Verbal and written communication plays a key role in this position.

This position requires the direct interface between frontline sales, sale support, customers, production planning, and marketing.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information science, Information Technology, Information systems, and computer Science is preferred or BS in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.  Related experience with ecommerce or digital platforms will be taken into consideration.

Travel Requirements: 5%
