Job description    

      

Are you interested in working within the core of Lifting Businesses and Digitalization? Konecranes’ vision is to know in real time how millions of lifting devices and machine tools perform and to use this knowledge around the clock to make our customers’ operations safer and more productive. Konecranes IT’s role is to connect the data from cranes, Lift Trucks, hoists and business processes. We develop and operate services that make that data available to customers, service technicians and use analytics to identify new business opportunities.

 

The SAP ABAP Consultant is part of the Global AMS team that ensures business applications run successfully and are error free.

 

We are looking for SAP ABAP Consultant with strong relevant experience of 3-5 years and total experience of around 6 years. Preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

 

Your responsibilities are

 

  • Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action
  • Handle (providing resolutions) Incidents and Service Requests via SNOW based
  • Technical analysis of all the unknown/ new types of Incidents and Service Requests and assist the functional SAP Team members for diagnosis
  • Participate into Critical Incident resolution and communication process
  • Analyze the repetitive Incidents and addressing the root causes in order to either reduce/ eliminate repetitive Incidents or enhance efficiency in handling those
  • Develop healthy professional customer relationship
  • Ensure the KPIs like SLA, TAT, Ageing, Quality Audits, etc based on management’s expectations and guidance
  • Align and realign actions based on customers’ feedbacks, inputs from management or Core team
  • Prepare reports based on supervisor’s expectations
  • Assist peers, superiors, other IT staff members in day to day activities whenever appropriate
  • Deliver any other tasks as per superior’s instructions and guidance

 

What we expect from you

 

  • Strong ABAP Skills including Reporting, Data Dictionary, Screen Painter, Menu Painter, ABAP OO, applying user exits, ABAP query and report writer tools, SAP Scripts, Smart-Forms and Adobe forms
  • Experienced in ALE, EDI, IDOC, RFC, BAPI
  • Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 application development, SAP Gateways and OData services development
  • SAP Workflow experience needed.
  • Experience in ABAP CDS and HANA modelling will be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge and experience in functional areas like SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, PS and WM modules
  • Experience as SAP ABAP consultant in implementation with expertise in Adobe forms, Smart Forms, SAP-Scripts.
  • Adhere to coding guidelines and knowledge of performance improvement technique
  • Skills of thoroughly analyzing the functional specifications and creating technical specification
  • Experience on Agile Scrum development will be a significant advantage

  • Should have excellent inter-personnel skills with a proven ability to work independently and in team environment as per situation
  • Should have good communication (verbal, written) and presentation skill
  • Analytical and problem solving techniques
  • Nice to have experience in interacting with global stakeholders
  • Should have customer service mindset to ensure SAP end-user satisfaction
  • Must have good integration knowledge with other modules mainly MM/SD/PP/FI-CO.
  • Willing to travel based on organizational needs
  • Willing to work in shifts / on-call when necessary
