We are looking for a technical illustrator to join our technical documentation team to create and maintain technical illustration for technical information products.

Main responsibilities and tasks are:

• Visualize, create, and maintain high quality graphics from 3D models and 2D drawings according to guidelines for product manuals, service instructions, training materials, and other technical documentation using adobe illustrator.
• Tracing illustrations from pictures with Adobe illustrator.
• Creating illustrations using CorelDraw.
• 3D Animation and Design: Develop professional quality 3D animations from 3D models using 3DS MAX and After Effects with a focus on technical accuracy and user engagement.
• Visualize independently to produce fresh animations and designs/layouts and striving to improve graphics digital visuality.
• Ensure that graphics and animations are technically accurate, user-focused, and free from errors by applying group processes, procedures, and standard and making sure that the graphics are available on relevant places.
• Analyze the multi-level bill of material, engineering change order, cad models, installation drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and subject matter experts to understand product specifications, features, and functionality, and translate technical information into visual representations.
• Develop and maintain a library of standardized technical illustrations and animations to that will be across product lines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in visual communication.
• Illustration Best Practices and Process Improvement: Provide input and recommendations on best practices for technical illustration and documentation, including tools, techniques, and processes, to improve efficiency and quality.
• Timely completion of all assignments.
• Supporting other team members with illustrations and illustration guidelines.
• Attends product meetings, organizes meetings as required and being self-driven.
• Helping to change the mentality away from paper manuals to a digital content delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in technical illustration and documentation workflows.
• Quality management on area of technical illustration.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Technical Skills and Software Proficiency

1. Excellent at creating illustration in Adobe illustrator. Familiar with Teamcenter, NX, Corel designer and IsoDraw. Knowledge of XML is bonus.
2. Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise visual representations.

• Industry-Specific Knowledge

1. Knowledge in industrial cranes and components and the technical structures how things are working for current and legacy corporation products are important for the success in this role.
