Assistant Scheduler

We are recruiting an Assistant Scheduler to join our team based in Thornbury, Bristol for 12 months covering maternity leave, although there is the potential for this role to result in a permanent position. This role would suit candidates who are experienced in previous administration-style roles, who have worked in a busy office where working to deadlines and targets are a priority; being customer-focused and being confident on the phone is also a requirement for being successful in this role.  

 

This role reports into the Operations Manager

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Speaking with customers and technicians over the phone
  • Raising jobs for technicians which includes details of work to be carried on site
  • Raising purchase order numbers for suppliers.
  • Resolving customer queries.
  • Manage Work In-progress and Last Labour To Invoice to meet company KPI’s
  • Maintain good housekeeping in Administration Office and Business Systems
  • Ensuring data quality is good to minimise the risk of queries
  • Maintain filing systems and document registers.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Administrative experience
  • Pass grades in English at GCSE or equivalent
  • IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to focus on meeting weekly performance targets /deadlines.
  • Enjoys working in a busy office
  • Organised, a self-starter and attention to detail
  • Customer service skills - verbal and written communication
