Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Responsible for processing all goods issuing and receiving postings. Posting to Production Orders, Network Orders, Service Orders, all stock returns, stock transfers, and inter-plant stock transfers, including printing of Delivery Notes, Packing lists, and Invoice 
  • Responsible for processing all incoming goods receiving, transferring orders printing of bar code after goods receipt, assigning bin location, and keeping proper filing. To comply with proper procedures and documentation whilst performing the receipt of the goods.
  • Do physical receiving and monitoring of scrap collection in the absence of warehouse staff. 
  • Checking and processing the purchase items invoices to FSSC.
  • Responsible for reporting discrepancies in the receipt of the goods are to be reported immediately via QM notification.
  • Responsible to do stock adjustment, scrap, and other abnormal postings with proper documentation and approval before proceeding with postings. 
  • In charge of creating bin location, changing bin, and extending bin location.
  • Actively monitor and ensure system posting done by production, electrical & Project to avoid pending /error posting. 
  • In charge of issuing Purchase requisitions for warehouse and inventory used non-stock and services.
  • In charge of Filing- All documentation related to the warehouse & Inventory department.
  • Follow up with related departments on outstanding manual issuance posting.
  • Participant in cycle count and pre-count to ensure physical stock vs system stock tally.  Any discrepancies to be identified and reported including short length immediately.  
  • To update storage bin location in the SAP material master to tally to the physical storage location.
  • Perform stock take count creation and result enter the SAP system.
  • To actively participate and assist in the Financial Year End stock take exercise.
  •  Perform other tasks related to the Warehouse as they arise and as delegated by the immediate superior.
  • Continuous improvement or best practices, and sharing suggestions related to Inventory and Warehouse.
  • To comply with proper procedures and documentation whilst performing all the Inventory postings and ensure timely and accurate.
  • Ensuring all the documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate, and filed correctly.
  • Prepare required documents for Audit.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues in the inventory management and processes
  • Other jobs assigned on ad hoc.
