About the Role:

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, corrective maintenance, retrofits, crane installation and commissioning.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment at varied customer locations, as directed
  • Perform a general customer review upon completion of any work
  • Document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer, while bringing all safety concerns to the customer’s immediate attention. Determine customer’s intentions to purchase repairs, spare parts, or any other services, and advise sales representatives to secure the sales
  • Conduct all work and provide all customer experience utilizing the established company digital tools
  • Generate sales leads and improvement opportunities
  • Complete service reports and other required documents in a professional, accurate, and legible manner and submit them in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines
  • Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in a safe and proper working order
  • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for immediate resolution
  • Follow all established safety rules and regulations, including those established by the customer
  • Report all hazards, incidents, injuries, and safety observations in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

EHS/QMS 

  • Perform field activities according to EHS procedures and standards in order to achieve required safety standards. 

 

Skills and Knowledge:

  • 2 years of field service experience
  • Working technical knowledge of material handling, construction, or equivalent equipment
  • Fluent usage of mobile applications.
  • MS Office and general computer literacy would be considered a benefit
  • Prefer Class 3 driving license

 

Academic/ Professional Qualifications

  • Diploma / NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical with completion of apprenticeship
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in relevant industries
  • Fresh Graduate without prior experience will be considered
