APAC Manager, Field Operative Development

We are currently looking for an APAC Manager, Field Operative Development who is enthusiastic about working in the Field Operative Development function. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Field operative development process, conducting the technical trainings, and collaborating with learning facilitators cum key stakeholders to build world-class learning facilities.


Your key roles:

  • Be the technical champion for product basics and advanced features in order to develop field operatives' theoretical and hands-on skills through learning courses.
  • Maintain self-skills by actively participating in Train the trainer programmes, training content development and engagement with regional and global learning groups.
  • Learning Planning process – aligning the APAC needs and the learning delivery plans, prioritisation, monthly / yearly calendar execution.
  • Identify and formulate technical learning requirements for field operatives based on development needs, skill matrix, strategic needs, new product & programme launch, assessments, inputs from peers, country specific legal and statutory requirements.
  • Enable and ensure effective utilization of learning management system within APAC for planning courses, delivery, recording history and upkeep of master data.
  • Enable world-class training facility development and utilisation – upkeep tools and infrastructure related to safety at training, development of training simulators, capex planning, effective facility utilisation and global harmonisation.
  • Support improvements in training delivery tools, processes, and systems. Drive continuous improvement culture in response to participant feedback.
  • Develop and support to deliver need based technical training for customer’s end users, operators, maintenance, and other teams. 
  • Other responsibilities as they arise.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.


What should you bring?

Qualification: Graduation in Engineering
Experience: 4-6 years 
Expected competencies and skills as below:  

  • Professional experience in planning and delivery of technical trainings.
  • Excellent decision making and organisational skills.
  • Experience with learning need identification, planning and management system. 
  • Good time management abilities. 
  • Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS office and learning management systems.
  • Awareness of learning ECO-SYSTEM in Industrial Sector.
