Sales Manager, Agilon UK

Konecranes Agilon is an automated warehouse system that is used for storing and managing thousands of different components in various environments. Agilon connects information to material flow by utilising Industrial Internet in maintenance, production and spare parts centres and their related material replenishment processes.

 

We are recruiting a Sales Manager for Agilon here in the UK and will report directly to the Director, BL Industry Agilon. This is a regional role, ideally based in the Newcastle upon Tyne, but other northern areas of the UK can be considered.  

 

As our Sales Manager you will be responsible for both managing assigned accounts and for acquiring new prospects and sales opportunities, develop all sales channels together with internal and external stakeholders as well as selling and promoting Konecranes Agilon countrywide to achieve sales and profit targets.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Building and develop existing customers
  • Acquiring new prospects and sales opportunities
  • You will configure the solutions, prepare quotations, drive negotiations and close contracts
  • Screening and segmenting assigned accounts as well as planning related sales strategy in co-operation with the Account Management team
  • Meeting the set sales targets adhering to margin, commercial and technical deviations
  • Identifying and managing potential risks related to contract agreements
  • Providing input to budgeting and gathering market intelligence
  • Cross-promoting Konecranes offering
  • Customer invoicing in SAP

What should you bring?

For this role we are looking for candidates who have a passion for B2B solution sales. It’s crucial for the success that you are customer-oriented and as this role is much about interacting and negotiating with customers as well as supporting customers in buying process.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Technical solution sales experience
  • Degree education or equivalent
  • knowledge of logistics and production processes in different industry segments
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills in English
  • Knowledge of logistics and/or processes in different industries
  • Able to travel half-nationwide 80-90% of the time
