Port Solutions is one of Konecranes main business areas, and it designs, manufactures, sells, delivers and services a wide variety of container handling cranes, shipyard cranes and lift trucks. A critical part of Port Solutions is Port Services, and Estonian Frontline unit provides global support to other internal frontline units and also directly to customers for complex retrofits, modernizations and new equipment installations requiring technical expertise.

 

To further strengthen our mechanical support capacity, we are now seeking to hire a Field Engineer in our Port Services Frontline in Tallinn, Estonia.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Start-up and commissioning of cranes and cargo handling equipment, providing inspections, participating in repairs, other services and retrofits of equipment.

  • Complex maintenance, site supervising, equipment troubleshooting and analysis and reporting from of root cause.

What should you bring?

 For this role, we are looking for a motivated person who:

  • Has minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience.

  • B- Category drivers license.

  • Ready for long term business trips (up to 80% from annual working time) and comfortable working in heights.

  • Has basic knowledge of hydraulics and strong diagrams and drawings reading skills.

  • Can read and compile technical reports.

  • Has knowledge of lifting equipment and technology and background in the lifting or machinery industry. Safety is your top priority when working.

  • Has good English skills in speaking and writing. Estonian, Russian and any other language would be considered as benefit.

  • Eager to learn new technologies and working in different weather conditions.
